Solar Panel IR Scanning
These roof top solar panels, and their associated electrical equipment, were inspected and thermally scanned. The client’s insurance provider strongly recommended this maintenance.
Transformer Restoration
This transformer had been out of service for years, overgrown with vegetation and largely forgotten. Working with Maddox Transformers, we completed a turnkey project that included reconditioning, restoring, and returning the unit to service in like-new condition for our client.
Reconditioning legacy equipment can be a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to full replacement, helping extend asset life, improve reliability, and keep critical power systems operating.
Mill Testing and Startup Support
After years of being closed for business, this mill was purchased and put back into production. APS assisted with LV & MV apparatus testing, oil filled transformer sampling and leak repairs, retrofits, and equipment repairs. Also supplied replacement parts for obsolete equipment.
Emergency Support
This client experienced a fault on the secondary side of their incoming main transformer, taking the entire plant down. APS was on site within 45 minutes and supported this client for several days with testing and apparatus repair. We tested the main transformer, secondary medium voltage switchgear and breakers, protection relays, and other miscellaneous equipment. We also supplied five vacuum bottle retrofitted GE Magne-Blast breakers for service in less than a week.
